Great "starter kit" for V2 captures!
As an owner of MANY Amalgam captures, I can attest that these V2 captures are excellent and, in my opinion, this is the best "starter" pack for someone looking for a collection of 10 classic amps that cover classic rock, indie, and blues. The difference from V1 captures is not dramatic, but they do sound to me generally more touch-dynamic and variable in the gain structure. Karlis has generally gotten better and better at shooting captures, also, so even having some of these amps "re-recorded" is worth the upgrade alone. Highly enjoy these!
