Last week we re-released REX as V2. Now the DI version is here — and it’s the first time REX has ever been available in NAM A2. 🔥
The 1967 Marshall JMP-100 Super Bass that ended my personal Marshall journey and picked up a cult following of its own. It has become the go-to plexi for a lot of guys chasing that classic rock tone, and for good reason: dual rectifier, low filtering, the same Drake output transformer the last Black Flags carried. Visceral low mids, unparalleled punch, and an attack with a 3D quality I haven’t heard anywhere else.
⚡ 38 DI captures from clean to lead, plus 2 custom Studio Quality IRs of the 1968 Marshall 1982B 4x12 with original G12H30 55Hz Pulsonic cones — the cab Hendrix and Page ran for the power handling alone.

AC/DC, Cream, Free, Hendrix, Zeppelin — the tonal DNA is all in there. 🎸 Kristens takes it through five riffs. Swipe through 👉

🎸38 DI captures of our 1967 Marshall JMP-100 "REX" Super Bass, a cult-favorite Black Flag-spec plexi that nails everything from Hendrix and Zeppelin to AC/DC and Cream. Rich Drake transformer tone, visceral low-mid punch, and a uniquely 3D attack that stays clear even under crunch. Captured through a 1968 Marshall 1982B 4x12 with original G12H30 Pulsonic speakers, the same cab Hendrix and Page used. Includes 2 custom studio-quality cab IRs. Clean to lead gain, all in one set. 🔥

A capture of a '66 Script Logo JTM-45 run through a Bluesbreaker combo loaded with vintage Celestion G12 Alnico speakers — the exact recipe behind the legendary Beano tone. This capture gets you the identical spec and tone.
Punchy, singing sustain, zero pedals — just the amp dialed to 8.🤘

Our captures of the early '64 Marshall JTM-45 Block Logo with the rare Radiospares transformer — one of the first gold plexi amps ever built, serial number a hair from Clapton's legendary #1028. Singing sustain, warm bluesy breakup, all-original Mullard 12AX7s, GZ34 rectifier, GEC KT66s. Captured through a '66 Pinstripe 4x12 and vintage Greenbacks. 🔥

Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground.
The 1966 Sears Silvertone 1485 is the amp Jack White used for live White Stripes work and the one that sits right behind the tones that made an entire generation reach for a guitar.
The 1485 is the rarer sibling of the 1484. Same undersized output transformers, but a bigger Mains transformer that delivers more authority to the whole circuit.
The result is a slightly scooped clean tone with real headroom on the second channel, and when you push it into crunch territory you get a bright, distinctive drive that is practically tailor-made for rock and alternative rock. It takes fuzzes especially well — which is the whole point when you're chasing Jack White tones.
30 AMP+CAB captures.
