Holy cow is this good! I've said it before, but Amalgam is doing the best captures out there. The first chord I played on this set blew me away. There's something special about the high powered tweed twin and this is absolutely captured with this pack.
This amp is not just a killer Tweed amp, but it is also THE Tweed Killer, it is the lion that governs the Tweed grasslands. It is the most valuable, desirable and in demand FNDR Tweed era amp. Think of the Tweed HPTWN as a double TWBM and you get very close to the truth about this amp.
It has a similar signature to the TWBM, but it has way more headroom for some of the best cleans attainable, it has more punch and low end, a stronger timbre in the mids and an attack that shines through with lots of detail without getting harsh, even when the amp is cranked to 10 and despite its immense bass reserves, even with bass at 0. These are some traits that remind us of the MRSH JT100, which is not surprising at all, as they are schematically extremely close.
This amp is the pinnacle of the Tweed era designs. It will do huge cleans, beautiful edge of breakup tones and mean crunch tones. It is also THE Tweed for use with pedals thanks to its incredible power, headroom and definition.
Many notable users have used it over the years, but they are most associated with Joe Bonamassa and Keith Richards.
The set includes 24 DI captures ranging from clean to lead gain levels and featuring various EQ settings per gain level. Please refer to the full list of captures in the product pictures.

Amazing Tone!
I own a hand-wired '57 Custom Twin, and this capture sounds extremely close to it. Mine is of course the lower powered 40-watt model, but they both sound very similar. I have both of them to do a sort of Clapton inspired blues/rock thing, and neither one of them disappoints. The advantage of this capture, and it's accompanying IR, over the real thing is that I don't have to mess around with miking my cabinet up and positioning mics to track my own sounds with my subpar equipment. I just plug into the Quad Cortex and press record and get amazing, professional sounding tweed twin tones.
